Mark Ragland
Pastor-Teacher
Mark was born and raised in Montana, living in a Christian home and attending a Baptist church during his childhood. Although making a profession of faith at age nine, Mark did not show any of the fruits of true conversion throughout his adolescence and early adulthood. In 1986, after years of sinful and unhealthy living, Mark temporarily lost his eyesight due to complications from Diabetes. During this time of physical blindness, God graciously opened Mark’s spiritual eyes to the truth of the gospel, showing him his need to repent and call upon the only True Savior. Praise God for His infinite Mercy!
Shortly after his conversion, Mark met his future bride, Kim, and they were married in June of 1988. While attending Rimrock Baptist Church in Billings, Montana, Mark felt called to the pastorate. With their local church’s blessings and support, the couple moved to the Los Angeles area where Mark attended The Master’s Seminary, graduating in 2003.
Throughout his Christian life, Mark has served in several churches as Worship Leader, Bible Teacher, Pastoral Assistant and Elder. Mark is currently the Pastor-Teacher of Grace Fellowship Bible Church in Culpeper, Virginia, where he has served since its inception. Mark and Kim have two children, Samuel and Sylvia.
